Who owns the website after it's built?

You do. At the moment your final invoice clears, ownership of your domain, hosting, and site code fully transfers to you. We send a step-by-step handoff guide with logins and admin transfer links.

What if I cancel the retainer later?

Your site is yours — you keep it. You have two options: keep it hosted on Netlify / Vercel under your own account (the default after transfer), or ask us to continue hosting it at a monthly maintenance rate without the full retainer.

Do you hold my accounts hostage?

No. The only access we retain after handoff is a Collaborator role (view + contribute, not admin) while your retainer is active — and that's removed the day your retainer ends.

What accounts do you own that I don't?

Our own internal tooling — CSR's CRM, our Stripe (for invoicing you), our email marketing account. We never put your business data inside our tools; it always lives in accounts you own.

What if I don't pay?

We keep the site in staging on our subdomain until payment clears. No site goes live on your custom domain and no ownership transfers until final payment is cleared. This is standard across the industry.
